ENTROPY THIS FEBRUARY



We're currently in the studio getting a couple of new singles ready in anticipation of our third studio album entitled A.F.R.O., so wanted to let you good folks know about a very special show (our only February date) we have scheduled in Atlanta.

Entropy is throwing a very special benefit show next Friday, February 15 at the East Atlanta Village's very own speakeasy, Cenci. Cenci offers an upscale environment in which you can enjoy the finest in vegan & vegetarian food (they have meats now), organic juices, and of course the best in up-and-coming underground funk, jazz, soul, hip-hop, and R&B. Now, the reason we're doing this benefit....

Our singer/keyboardist Rod has an eighteen year-old son Julian who is about to graduate high school up in Chicago. Without going into it too much, Rod has not seen his son in sixteen years! Suffice to say this was not by his choice, and he has been searching for his son for many, many years. Then, lo and behold, last month his sister found his son's profile right here on MySpace! So in an effort to rekindle Rod's relationship with his son, we're flying him down to Atlanta next week to meet Rod and his side of the family and have Entropy play a benefit show to help raise money for college. We will also be having a silent auction of some very limited Entropy paraphernalia, so come and get it! Admission is only $10, so PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE come down to Cenci this Friday...it's a family affair!!!

In addition, we will be having people over to the Entropy house (right around the corner from Cenci) starting around 4pm for a lil pre-partay celebration. You can meet Julian at the party, we'll have kegs of Sweetwater beer, so just bring something for the grill and kick it with us all Entropy stylie!!
